Welcome to the official website of the Southern Nevada Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Chartered on October 20, 2024, our chapter was established by twenty-seven dedicated women committed to expanding Delta's legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action throughout the southern region of Clark County. As we celebrate our second year of service, we reflect with gratitude on our beginnings and with determination on the steady, intentional growth that continues to shape who we are.
Who We Are
We are a developing chapter, purpose-driven, collaborative, and committed to building a strong operational foundation. Our members bring diverse professional expertise and a shared dedication to meaningful community engagement. While we are still learning, refining, and strengthening our systems, we remain anchored in Delta's mission and guided by the needs of the communities we serve.
Our Purpose

Our First Two Years: Steady Progress, Real Impact
In just two years, the chapter has established a foundation of consistent, thoughtful service.
Highlights include:

Educational Development: Book donations to local school libraries and scholarships awarded to Clark County School District graduating seniors.

Physical & Mental Health: Accessible women's health forums in partnership with local medical professionals.

Economic Development: Budgeting and financial literacy workshops for youth and adults.

International Awareness & Involvement: Support for I Can Fly International in Makakoi
Village, Machakos District, Kenya, along with cross-cultural youth engagement that extends Delta's global mission in a steady, meaningful way. -
Social Action: Training members as field voter registrars, conducting voter education, and partnering with civic organizations to strengthen community participation.

Support for Pregnant & Parenting Women: Ongoing collaboration with Living Grace Homes to provide essential items, encouragement, and personal development workshops.
